RECONSTRUCTED BY SAM
Who is the founder of Reconstructed by Sam?
The founder of Reconstructed by Sam is Samantha Deveaux known as #FitSam. I started my journey at the age of 20. Growing up I was always afforded opportunities by both my mother and grandmother. My mother being my BIGGEST supporter, pushes me even in days when I am at my worst!
Growing up, on the chubby side, it was always a thought that I wasn’t pretty enough. I began my journey when one day I looked in the mirror and didn’t like what was looking back at me. My self-esteem and confidence were very low and I always second guessed myself.
I started out small working out in our garage and walking on the park. I did that every day until I was comfortable enough to go into a gym. Once I made it a lifestyle- I could not and would not stop! It became my passion. I then spoke to my mom and told her I wanted to go to school to become a personal trainer. Her exact words “are you sure?” So, I did the research on different schools and I am now a graduate of Atlanta School and Massage and NASM certified personal trainer.
I often say just look at God’s work because if He could do it for me, he can do it for anyone. Go after what you want and don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t… Failure is not an option.
